Privacy policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Impact Change collects through this website, the calls booked from it and the work that follows, why I collect it, who else handles it, and what you can ask me to do with it.
Who I am
This website is run by Impact Change Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12822201, whose registered office is at Flat 12 Sheffield Park House, Sheffield Park, Uckfield, TN22 3QZ. Impact Change Limited is the controller of the personal information described here. I’m Will Bryant, the company’s founder, and you can reach me about anything in this policy at will@startscaleandsucceed.com.
When you visit the site
The site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records the pages viewed, the sites visitors arrive from, and their country and type of device. It does this without cookies and without following you across other websites. Like any website, the servers that host it also log technical details of each request, such as your IP address and browser, to keep the site running and secure.
I use this information because I have a legitimate interest in running a working website and knowing which pages are useful.
When you book a call
Calls are booked and paid for through Appointlet, a scheduling service, and the payment is taken by Stripe, so your card details never reach me. When you book, you give your name and email address, the name of your business and anything you’d like me to know before we speak. I use this to arrange the call, prepare for it and send you the written summary afterwards. The lawful basis is the contract between us.
On the call
Calls take place by video, usually on Zoom. If a call is recorded, Zoom shows everyone on it that recording has started. I use the recording and its transcript to write up your summary and to keep an accurate record of what we discussed, and you can ask me for a copy or ask me to delete it.
When you email me
If you email me, I keep your message and my reply so that I can answer you and follow up. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in replying to you or, if you’re asking about working together, the steps you’ve asked me to take before we agree anything.
When we work together
If you hire me for a project, I hold the documents and figures you share, such as decks, plans and financial information, and use them to do the work. I keep them confidential. The lawful basis is the contract between us. If you hire me through Fiverr, Fiverr’s own privacy policy also covers what you share there.
Who else handles your information
I use trusted providers to run the business, and they handle information on my behalf under their own data protection terms:
- Appointlet and Stripe, for bookings and payments
- Zoom, for video calls
- Google Workspace and Microsoft, for email, documents and file storage
- Canva and Slack, for design work and team messages
- Xero, for accounts and invoices
- Cloudflare, for counting visits and protecting the site, and Lovable, which hosts it
- Software that helps with research, drafting and analysis, including AI tools
A member of my team who works on design and delivery sees project materials when they work on your job. I never sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Where your information is stored
Some of these providers store information outside the UK, mostly in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards UK law recognises, such as the UK-US data bridge or contract terms approved under UK law.
How long I keep it
I keep booking details, emails, notes and call records for as long as they’re useful for our work together and any follow-up. I keep invoices and payment records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because UK tax law requires it. You can ask me to delete anything sooner, and I will unless the law requires me to keep it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, ask me to restrict how I use it, object to my using it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Email will@startscaleandsucceed.com and I’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Two small cookies are set when you visit, because the site needs them to work:
__cf_bm, set by Cloudflare, which protects the site, to tell people from automated traffic. It lasts 30 minutes.__dpl, set by Lovable, which hosts the site, to keep you on the same version of it while you browse. It lasts a day.
The site also keeps your place on each page in your browser’s session storage, so the back button returns you to where you were. Nothing in it identifies you, and it’s cleared when you close the tab.
Appointlet’s booking pages and Stripe’s payment pages are run by those companies and set their own cookies, which their own privacy policies explain.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
